JazzKLUB / Radek Wośko Chamber Trio / Three Individuals, One Vision of Music - NOSPR

Radek Wośko, leader of Chamber Trio, Grzegorz Tarwid, and Kuba Więcek first found one another through Denmark, drawn together by their experience in the country’s educational setting. There, they began shaping their unique language, unafraid to test the boundary of what jazz could be – and to push beyond it. Each of them is an individual artist with their own ensembles and compositions, yet here they gather, led by the percussionist, embracing his vision and compositional ideas. At first, they played jazz standards. But Radek Wośko soon shifted towards original music, taking as his point of departure both the demanding format of a bass-less trio and the chamber music of the 20th century. The result is music that breaks conventions, modern and ambitious, but with an effortless grace, delicately laced with electronics. And through it all, the listener can hear the sheer joy of three musicians playing together.
