Chamber Trio is the most recent musical project of Radek Wośko. Established in Copenhagen in 2015, the ensemble has since appeared on a variety of stages in Denmark and Poland. From the outset, the trio explored jazz standards in the challenging bassless format, alongside improvisations shaped by unusual and often extra-musical ideas, including graphic notation and concise references to various historical stylistic traditions. In 2021, the trio entered the Polish Radio studio in Warsaw to record material for an album released in September 2024.

At present, the point of departure for the ensemble’s creative output is twentieth-century chamber music, particularly works composed by such creators as Olivier Messiaen and Béla Bartók. The trio uses them as a springboard to move beyond the conventions of jazz, especially when it comes to composition. The alternative instrumental combination and an inclination towards breaking conventions ensure that every piece performed by the three musicians sounds fresh.
