Tadeusz Wielecki, in his commentary to his hybrid spoken play for the stage, writes: ‘Man expresses himself through art; in the most direct way, perhaps, through music, but the truth we can read from it remains a mystery…’.

Apparently, contact with real people will soon be a luxury confined to the private domain or paid for at a premium. Artificial intelligence will be serving us everywhere. So it is important to remain in touch. To listen to music and to one another. To experience. That’s partly the point of our festival. ‘It’s about sensing that we are being spoken to – and by a living person’.
