‘Sounds Within and Around Us’ - NOSPR
Season 26/27
‘Sounds Within and Around Us’

We want NOSPR to be a welcoming and accessible place for as wide a range of audiences as possible, which is why we invite families with special needs to a new series of musical sessions. These 45-minute workshops will focus on the timbres, textures and nuances of music. We will play with music, play instruments, create, and listen to ourselves and to one another.
The workshops are designed for neurodivergent children, children with disabilities, and those with sensory, communication and social challenges. The sessions will be led by a certified music therapist. Children aged 3–6 and their carers are invited to create, listen and play together, as well as to pause for a moment and immerse themselves in soothing sounds in a safe environment.
