Together Among Sounds / for children aged 19 months to 3 years Katowice Culture Nature Festival „Melancholy and Ecstasy” - NOSPR

A concert-workshop event for children aged 19 months to 3 years accompanied by their guardians.

This special concert-workshop event is addressed to the youngest music lovers, whose caregivers would like to ensure that the children have contact with live music from the earliest months of life.

During these musical sessions, the youngest participants and their accompanying guardians take their seats… among the musicians on stage, which turns into a space for relaxation, attentive listening, and spontaneous reactions to the music. Throughout the concert, the children and their carers find themselves at the very centre of the event – surrounded by sound, they enter the world of music without restrictions or barriers, and become active participants of the event themselves. By sharing the same space as the performers on stage, they experience an atmosphere of ease that encourages an uninhibited reception of music. Together, all the participants listen, sing, sway, and play with the rhythm and melody. This concert is built around live music and playful musical interaction, carried out almost entirely without words.

The parent or another accompanying adult plays a crucial role, since by actively joining in the concert – through singing, moving, and taking active part – they become a natural “conduit” for the beauty of music, fostering the child’s experience.

Together Among Sounds is designed to meet the needs of the youngest members of the audience, serving as a kind of introduction to their future participation in family concerts, during which they will take their own seats in the auditorium.

Ticket price is PLN 35 (a package ticket – admission for both a child and their accompanying guardian)
