Winter Journey – From the Ordinary to the Sublime - NOSPR

We all know that winter is the most difficult time to travel. Yet the difficulties we expect – and those we actually encounter – often do not stop us from setting off, because some destinations are simply spectacular. The winter world offers beautiful views, sights and activities – which are your favourites?

Sledging or sliding down a hill on sacks of hay by moonlight? White mornings when everything is frozen solid and covered in frost? The crackle of a fire in the hearth? Rosy cheeks and breath you can see when a proper frost sets in? Or perhaps winter swimming?

Yes, winter is certainly a beautiful time of year, and it is this season that we want to evoke in our December Family Concert. We invite you to take a ‘winter dip in music’ – a concert we have put together from beautiful musical masterpieces, some easy to take in, others more challenging. They will set your blood racing and carry you to places you never expected to find yourself.

Recommended age: 6+

Concert duration: approximately 60 minutes
