Julia Kociuban-Maximov is considered as one of the leading polish pianists of her generation.
Her debut solo album Schumann, Chopin, Bacewicz was praised by critics as one of the most interesting Polish piano debut of the past years, and last CD with Bacewicz and Tansman Piano Concertos was nominated for the Polish Music Industry Award Fryderyk.
This young artist has already been invited to perform in renowned European concert halls including the Herkulessall in Munich, the Konzerthaus of Vienna and of Berlin and the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg. She has also performed in America and Asia and at the most known international music festivals in the world including La Roque-d'Anthéron, La Folle Journée, Kissinger Sommer, Young Euro Classic, Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival.
Julia Kociuban performs regularly solo recitals, in chamber music and as soloist with renowned orchestras (including Wiener Symphoniker, ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, NDR Sinfonieorchester). She has collaborated with such great conductors as Howard Griffiths, Hans Graf, Neeme Järvi, Kristjan Järvi, Lahav Shani, Heribert Beissel, Aziz Shokhakimov, Ken-David Masur, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Antoni Wit, Marek Pijarowski, among others.
She has recorded for many European radio and television stations and international labels such as Sony Classical, Gramola and Polish DUX.
Julia Kociuban graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and University Mozarteum Salzburg where she studied with Piotr Paleczny and Pavel Gililov. In 2019 she received her doctoral degree in music. Alongside her solo career Julia Kociuban teaches at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź. She is also a founder and director of BISMA Bacewicz International Summer Music Academy.

Russian pianist Ilya Maximov is the winner of the Gian Battista Viotti International Music Competition in Vercelli, Italy. He is a top prizewinner at more than fifteen international competitions, including Maria Canals International Music Competition, José Iturbi International Piano Competition (Spain), Hilton Head International Piano Competition (USA), and the Scottish International Piano Competition.
He performed at the world’s most esteemed concert halls and festivals in Europe, Asia and America including Salle Cortot in Paris, Carnegie Hall in New York, Chamber Music Hall of Berliner Philharmonie, Morinomiya Piloti Hall in Osaka, Esplanade Concert Hall in Singapore, Teatro Amadeo Roldán in Havana, Palau de la Música in Valencia and Barcelona, Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando in Madrid.
He regularly performs as a soloist and with various orchestras such as Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Orchestra del Teatro Carlo Felice, Wuhan Philharmonic Orchestra, Singapore National Youth Orchestra, Raanana Symphonette Orchestra, Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès, National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba, Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra, among others. He collaborated with such conductors as Justus Frantz, James P Liu, Misha Katz, Darrell Ang, and James Ross.
Ilya Maximov graduated from Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona, Royal College of Music in London and University Mozarteum Salzburg where he studied with renowned pianists and pedagogues Stanislav Pochekin, Dmitri Alexeev and Pavel Gililov.
Alongside his solo career Ilya Maximov is a teaching assistant at University Mozarteum Salzburg in the class of Pavel Gililov.
