“Niemen Known and Less Known” - Natalia Niemen and guests - NOSPR

“Strange is this world” („Dziwny jest ten świat”), “One heart” („Jednego serca”), “Burning barn”(„Płonąca stodoła”)  - these are just some of the songs that are permanently inscribed in the history of Polish music. The work of Czesław Niemen - a charismatic, courageous, unrepentant and spiritually profound artist - continues to inspire successive generations of musicians and listeners. It is to this extraordinary figure that the “Niemen Known and Less Known” project, prepared by his daughter Natalia Niemen, is dedicated.

It is not just a concert, but a peculiar musical journey through the various facets of Niemen's work - both those well known to the general public and those less obvious, more intimate or experimental. Natalia Niemen interprets her father's songs in a personal way, bringing out the depth of emotions and spiritual message from them. The repertoire of the concert includes both classics and less popular compositions, which surprise with their timeliness, originality and artistic flair.

The exceptional nature of the event is emphasized by the invited guests - outstanding artists of the Polish music scene, who undertook the not easy but extremely inspiring task of reinterpreting Czesław Niemen's songs. On stage will appear:

- Natalia Kukulska - a singer with exceptional musical sensitivity, daughter of Anna Jantar,

- Anna Rusowicz - artist bringing back the spirit of the 60s and 70s, daughter of Ada Rusowicz and Wojciech Korda,

- Piotr Cugowski - a singer gifted with a powerful rock voice, known for his band Bracia and solo career,

- Michal Szpak - one of the most distinctive voices of the young generation, combining stage expression with an extraordinary sense of emotion.

All the artists bring their individuality to the project, giving the concert a fresh new perspective, without losing the deep respect for the original versions.

“Niemen Known and Less Known” is a multi-dimensional event - musical, emotional and symbolic. It is an encounter with artistic courage, spiritual reflection and the timeless message that Czeslaw Niemen left behind. For some, it will be a nostalgic journey to the past, for others - a discovery of hitherto unknown sounds and words that move the heart and mind.

This concert is more than a tribute. It is a living testimony that Czeslaw Niemen's work which still inspires, unites generations and is a timeless masterpiece.
