Jazz Not Found was one of the most significant debuts of 2025, although it was not created by newcomers but by seasoned musicians already known from groups such as Polmuz and Fanfara Awantura. The hundred-ton riffs of the bass saxophone – justifiably reminiscent of Morphine or the saxophonist Colin Stetson – provide a solid foundation for well-conceived compositions in which improvised music meets techno. Repetitive and therefore rhythmic; heavy and therefore impressive; yet also devilishly intelligent. The line-up, expanded for this concert, promises not merely a feast, but a festival of low frequencies.
