Igor Herbut: Żeremie Tour 2026 - NOSPR

Six years after the release of his debut solo album, Igor Herbut will return in autumn 2026 with a new record, Żeremie. The forthcoming album and the tour of the same name are heralded by two emotionally charged yet strikingly different singles, Tak ma być and Żółw.

As Igor explains, the new solo album will be, in a sense, a continuation of his debut recording, Chrust. The title of his second album refers back to its predecessor – not literally, but symbolically. Chrust, or brushwood, is the basic material used to build a żeremie, or beaver lodge – a home constructed on the water to protect beavers from predators and the cold. It can be read as a metaphor for the creative process, for building a space of one’s own and seeking refuge.

Żeremie will offer another record of Igor’s personal, intimate experiences and observations, this time from a different point in his life. As with his first solo project, Igor is responsible for the music, lyrics and production.

His solo projects have shown Herbut’s ability to create music that not only captivates with its sound, but also moves the listener and makes them stop and reflect. The artist acknowledges that emotional truth is his most important source of inspiration: ‘What matters most to me in music is being honest. I am not looking for effect, but for an encounter – with myself and with other people.’

Herbut has by no means been idle during his break from releasing new material. Alongside an active concert schedule, both as a solo artist and with his band LemON, Igor has become involved in supporting young talent through artist management, helping to guide the developing careers of Sara James and Livka.

He has also taken part in numerous artistic projects, collaborating with, among others, Miuosh, sanah, Natalia Szroeder, Maryla Rodowicz and Kasia Lins, as well as joining the Męskie Granie Orchestra – all of which has undoubtedly further strengthened his position on the music scene.
