{oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna / Martyna Pastuszka (canceled) - NOSPR
{oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna / Martyna Pastuszka (canceled)
According to health&safety restrictions from the 4th November 2020, all cultural institutions, including ours, are closed to the public.
Because of this, we regret to inform you that this concert had to be canceled.
Since 2015, when Martyna Pastuszka’s ensemble began working with the NOSPR on a regular basis, its repertoire has been systematically expanded, and not just with more works from the Baroque. The {oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna’s interpretations, with their fascinating fullness of sound and splendid understanding between the musicians, are gaining increasing numbers of admirers, particularly since the triumphant procession of Vinci’s Gismondo through the concert halls of Europe. Today, the Silesian instrumentalists will be marrying the old with the new, presenting Bach’s Third Brandenburg Concerto with Krzysztof Penderecki’s cadenza and completing the programme with ‘old-style’ works by Penderecki, Robert Kajanus, who paved the way for Sibelius to gain global recognition, the Bach devotee Max Reger, and Samuel Barber, whose Adagio could wring tears out of a stone.
