Admission is free, but tickets must be booked using the form available here.
We have been organising Pianissimo sensory-friendly concerts at NOSPR since 2022. These events are created around the principle that ‘less is more’: subdued lighting, less activity throughout the NOSPR building, freedom to move around the hall, as well as a carefully selected, calming repertoire performed by outstanding musicians.
The Pianissimo concert series is intended for those who find bright lights, loud conversations and noise overwhelming, and for those who feel uncomfortable in crowds. It provides a safe space for people with heightened sensory sensitivity, including those who find it difficult or uncomfortable to remain seated and still for long periods.
Each concert offers 45 minutes of a unique artistic experience, without loud sounds or bright lighting. Whenever possible, we schedule the concerts on days when no other events are taking place in the building, helping to avoid queues at the cloakroom and crowded foyers.
We promise a captivating, carefully curated repertoire and the chance to connect closely with the performers, with volunteers from the ING Children Foundation on hand to support audience members whenever needed
The sensory-friendly concerts are supported by the ING for Children Foundation.
