Kaleidoscope / At The Black Horse House
Although he was based in Vienna for the whole of his short life, Franz Schubert was actually a citizen of the great musical world, which he left with a generous endowment. We will hear the most interesting pieces – real treasures, will pay a visit at the "Black Horse House", contemplate whether it is better to play the piano or the bass, and maybe even hold a little "Schubertiade" nearly 226 years after Schubert’s birth. The main performer in the January concert will be Piotr Sałajczyk, laureate of the Fryderyk industry award, laureate of the Orfeusz award for "outstanding creative performances of Polish music", and a Paszport Polityki award nominee "for the sensitivity and intelligence with which he approaches repertoire that has been forgotten on our stages".
