JazzKLUB / Ślina Trzaska - NOSPR

Trzaska is more than just a saxophonist. He's an institution. Ślina is more than free jazz - and probably that's why terms like Krautrock or yass appear in the band's descriptions. But those are already historical terms, and yet Ślina is the future. Together with the tireless warrior of the Polish avant-garde, the Wrocław-based band achieves even greater intensity, without losing its trance-like looseness. Trzaska's experience meets the youthful energy of Ślina - that's what one would want to write. It's true, but neither the saxophonist lacks vigor, nor do the members of Ślina lack musical wisdom. Their several years of artistic friendship are not such a common example in Poland of intergenerational collaboration based not on mentorship, but on true cooperation and mutual inspiration.
