JazzKLUB / Pimpono 2+4 / Better Live Tour - NOSPR

The concert is organized as part of a sustainable tour "Better Live" project.

The music of this group is a true festival of grooves and textures, colors and polyrhythms. Szymon "Pimpon" Gąsiorek is a drummer and he has no intention of hiding that fact. The tracks based on the work of two drum kits have an incredible drive. But apart from his drumming skills, Gąsiorek possesses another ability - he can write very unconventional yet catchy compositions. He eagerly utilizes this talent in the new group, making the music of the sextet - sometimes experimental - surprisingly easy to digest. Avant-garde mutations of Afrobeat, rhythms originating from dance clubs, and something resembling variations on the Polish mazur - the sonic possibilities of the group, enriched by the tuba, are vast, and Gąsiorek knows how to make use of this potential.
