Sounds of the Organ - NOSPR
Sounds of the Organ
Organ music resembles the Universe: full of mysteries, founded on laws that we often fail to comprehend, and yet capable of transporting the listener into another dimension. This extraordinary concert invites the audience on a journey through a sonic Universe – from the harmonies of early masters, through the romantic imagery of heavens, to the sounds familiar from galactic film sagas!
The programme presents works which, like planets, orbit the theme of the cosmos and the enigma behind the music of the spheres. It will be a concert of magic, grandeur of sound, and reflections on how the Universe itself may play, not only within our imagination.
We will discover the fascinating sound of the organ, all in the beautiful surroundings and excellent acoustics of the NOSPR concert hall!
Free admission. Limited capacity. Free admission passes (unnumbered) for the event will be available at the NOSPR ticket office from 8 September at 10 a.m.
Concert duration: approximately 50 minute
