Sulamita Ślubowska - NOSPR

A violinist, soloist, member of a chamber ensemble, and a concertmaster, but – above all – a musician in the fullest sense of the word. She studied in the class of Prof. Szymon Krzeszowiec at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, where she now works as a tutor, and in the class of Prof. Eszter Haffner at the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

She continues to refine her artistic skills under the guidance of distinguished figures, including Pierre Amoyal, Gidon Kremer, Pinchas Zukerman, Bomsori Kim, and Bartłomiej Nizioł. She is the winner of the 13th Young Paganini International Violin Competition, the finalist of the 1st Karol Szymanowski International Music Competition, and a participant in the 16th International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition.

Sulamita keeps developing and exploring; as a result, she moves fluidly between the world of contemporary music and historically informed performance. These peregrinations leave a tangible imprint on her interpretative language. She performs as the first violinist of the Equilibrium String Quartet and is also a member of the Metropolis Piano Quartet.

Since the 2024/2025 season, she has held the position of concertmaster of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice.
