NOSPR Educational Symphony Concerts - NOSPR
Season 26/27
NOSPR Educational Symphony Concerts

A real highlight of NOSPR’s educational programme. It takes just a few minutes for all 1,400 places to be snapped up once registration opens. And it is hardly surprising: six times a year, in its celebrated concert hall, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra – the resident ensemble – gives free educational concerts especially for young people. You can look forward to programmes with much in common with our Sunday Morning Symphony Concerts, superb performances and concert commentary from Polish Radio presenters. Mark the concert dates and registration openings in your calendars – we look forward to seeing you.
NOSPR Educational Symphony Concerts is a series for pupils in grades 7–8 of primary school and secondary-school students, designed to introduce young audiences to the fascinating world of orchestral music. Each event combines performances of the highest calibre by the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra with engaging and accessible commentary from Polish Radio presenters, guiding audiences through musical styles and periods and the stories behind the works.
The series gives young listeners an opportunity to discover that classical music is not merely ‘serious’ music, but a world of stories filled with emotion, colour and imagination. Admission to the concerts is free, with places available upon prior registration.
