She – an outstanding Portuguese pianist, an exceptional interpreter of, among others, the works of Mozart and Bach, appearing worldwide with leading orchestras such as the Berliner Philharmoniker, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. For years she has been recording albums for the prestigious Deutsche Grammophon label. 

He – an accomplished German baritone, renowned for his masterful renditions of Romantic lieder. He has appeared on the most eminent opera stages, including the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, Zurich Opera, and the Metropolitan Opera. Critics emphasise his exceptional sensitivity to text and highlight the distinctive timbre of his voice. 

Since 2023 Maria João Pires and Matthias Goerne have formed a duo that captivates audiences. Although the details of their forthcoming performance remain under wraps, one thing is certain: a concert by artists of such calibre is not to be missed.
