Melancholic Yoga, Ecstatic Yoga with live music Katowice Culture Nature Festival „Melancholy and Ecstasy” - NOSPR

The festival theme, Melancholy and Ecstasy, brings into focus emotions that lie at opposite ends of the spectrum, yet each of us at times finds ourselves balancing between these two poles. In keeping with the theme, we will seek to ease melancholy through guided exercises accompanied by the sounds of harp and handpans. Two yoga sessions, scheduled for this day in the spacious foyer of the NOSPR building, will be run by Agnieszka Lasoń (Arkaya Studio Jogi) and Katarzyna Kawończyk (Kopalnia Dźwięków). We would like to invite you to join in and discover what emotions may arise during these special sessions.

Here is how Agnieszka Lasoń describes her adventure with yoga:

‘When yoga appeared in my life, it felt like the start of a fascinating journey. Becoming aware of my body, my breath, and my heartbeat allows me to discover who I truly am. Yoga is my teacher. It teaches patience, humility, and the belief that everything has its proper time.’

Participants are kindly asked to bring their own exercise mat. Comfortable attire is strongly recommended, along with something warm to wrap yourself in, e.g. a blanket, as well as, optionally, yoga accessories such as blocks or a strap.
