According to health&safety restrictions from the 4th November 2020, all cultural institutions, including ours, are closed to the public. 

Because of this, we regret to inform you that this concert had to be canceled.

Power of The Horns Ensemble – a collective formed in 2007 by Piotr Damasiewicz, consisting of true stars of the Polish jazz scene. In their music, one may recognise references to the most influential big bands working in the borderlands of jazz and avant-garde music, such as the Sun Ra Arkestra and the Art Ensemble of Chicago. The band has released two albums, the second titled “Polska”. Their repertoire is a synthesis of inspirations creating a picture of the jazz music that accompanied Piotr Damasiewicz in shaping his musical identity. It is the core of what was closest to his heart over the last decades. And that was a time when he listened a lot to recordings by such musicians as Piotr Wojtasik, Tomasz Szukalski, Billy Harper and Tomasz Stańko.
