KONGLOMERAT big-band is an eighteen musicians strong group initiated by Nikola Kołodziejczyk, who is a pianist and one of the most important young jazz musicians, and by Michał Tomaszczyk, an excellent trombonist. The ensemble gathers some of the finest players and composers from Warsaw. It was created as a platform to promote new music for big-bands and to spread the idea of composers collaboration across stylistic borders. And as the members of the band are not only talented instrumentalists but also gifted composers, music they create is the highest standard modern jazz.
