We sadly have to inform you that the concert was cancelled. We were very much looking forward to this meeting. Unfortunately, difficulties related to the pandemic have stood in its way.

Last year Kasia Pietrzko celebrated her 25th birthday. By then she had already learned from Kenny Garrett, Aaron Parks and Kenny Warner, as a session musician had been awarded at Jazz Juniors, and as a leader of his own trio had managed to record a warm-received album, Forthright Stories.  

In the masculine world of jazz, her presence is particularly heart-warming, and even more so as in the opinion of many jazz musicians Kasia is a real gem.

Tomasz Stańko himself confirmed this opinion inviting her to a session which turned out to be his last concert in the Krakow Alchemy.
