Tubist and wind instrument wizard Daniel Herskedal is a Norwegian Grammy Award winner. This remarkably versatile artist, in his original work, focuses on exploring the sonic possibilities of the tuba and experimenting with sounds produced by this unconventional instrument, especially in improvised music.

Thanks to his technical mastery, diverse stylistic inspirations ranging from classical to folk, and his profound sensitivity, the artist - like few others - is capable of independently constructing a complete and authentic musical narrative. You will be able to experience this during his solo recital in Katowice.
