The Puppini Sisters is an Italian-British trio fascinated by the great stars of Hollywood. The look and sound of The Puppini Sisters' voices took their cue from a movie Marcella saw, The Trio of Belleville. She pitched her idea to her girlfriends who shared her stylistic fondness, and so in 2004 they launched, marking the great comeback of burlesque with their presence. Their second album The Rise & Fall Of Ruby Woo (2007) marked the trio's position on the international stage.

The Puppini Sisters are not only associated with their albums, they have also collaborated with Michael Buble. They made guest appearances on two songs released for Christmas.

The band's motto is "If we have an idea, we just execute it." It not only determines the line of action of the group's members, but also gives an overall sense to their subsequent albums. Marcella states: "Since the first rehearsal in my kitchen, we have always been accompanied by the conviction that we want to make music that gives joy." And her colleagues add: "We want to sing the kind of songs that will make you laugh and your feet will stomp on their own." The Puppini Sisters are the living embodiment of 1940s style, and the goal of their art is to take the listener back to a time when stars were stars and dreams came true.

This concert is also a special event for another reason: we will be celebrating the 5th birthday of the Eye to Eye with Cancer Foundation of Katowice. The Foundation operates in the three areas of oncology patient support, prevention and promotion of healthy lifestyles. It permanently cooperates with the National Institute of Oncology in Gliwice, among others, and its members include prominent oncologists from Silesia. During the concert you will be able to support the Eye to Eye with Cancer Foundation.
