Marcin Pater is a vibraphone virtuoso and laureate of many prestigious awards, such as the Jazz Juniors Grand Prix and the Jazz nad Odrą competition. It is to the latter that he owes his musical encounter with Leszek Możdżer. The young vibraphonist shows a natural leader’s temperament, freely directing even the greatest musical personalities on stage, lending his own tone and timbre to events. He is extraordinarily imaginative, composing pieces of irregular metres which are highly challenging for performers but at the same time remain friendly for the listener. The vibraphone being used alongside Możdżer’s piano lends Pater’s latest project a noble sound, while the presence of Mizeracki’s guitar brings in a jazz-rock vibe.
