Kaleidoscope / Violin changes the world - NOSPR
Kaleidoscope / Violin changes the world
Born in Singapore, the composer Diana Soh, a graduate of the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, the University of Buffalo and IRCAM, receives multiple commissions for orchestral, choral, chamber and electronic compositions from prestigious institutions, festivals and ensembles from the whole world over. She has worked with such ensembles as the Klangforum Wien, the Arditti Quartet and the Ensemble Court-circuit. Her visit at NOSPR will be a short residence spent on work with children, composing, teaching workshops and participating in the March concert in the Kaleidoscope series. During the concert, we will employ playing, singing, and trying to compose together in our contemplation of whether, and how, the violin can change the world.
