JazzKLUB / ZK Collaboration - NOSPR
JazzKLUB / ZK Collaboration
"The explosion, madness and power of youth are foundations for our creation. We do not recognise compromise, our art blends everything possible! We create our own aesthetics moving onwards consistently!" – is how members of ZK Collaboration speak of themselves. The band, present on the jazz circuit since 2016, was founded by two musicians, the drummer Adam Zagórski and the alto saxophonist Maciej Kądziela.
ZK Collaboration is a band which blends a youthful aggressiveness with a multitude of inspirations, from harmonically complicated Dutch hard bop, through perceivable notes of Copenhagen avant-garde, to Polish folk music. Their conscious experimenting with various currents leads them outside the framework of contemporary music. So far, they have recorded the Double Universe album as a quartet. They are going to perform at the concert in NOSPR as a sextet.
