If you remember the Jachna/Cichocki/Urowski/Krawczyk quartet, which recorded the The Right Moment album in 2015, you certainly know that Wojciech Jachna Squad is its direct continuation. Critics describe the group’s music as a golden mean between the regime of composition and the allure of free improvisation.

This is how the leader, the Bydgoszcz-based trumpeter Wojtek Jachna, speaks of the band: "...I am responsible for its activity, and I make all the key decisions. I am also the composer, which does not mean that I do not make use of my bandmates’ talents, as these are immense. We ought to show more increased interest in the project, as the concert in Katowice is going to include pre-premiere presentations of pieces from group’s second album".
