Throughout over four decades of continuous functioning in the Polish jazz circles, Jazz Juniors, both the festival and the most significant jazz competition in Poland, has been a gate to career for innumerable hosts of musicians who gave their hearts to jazz music. Since 2018, it has had a new artistic director, the outstanding musician, soprano and tenor saxophonist Adam Pierończyk.

As it happens every year, the director and the jury, composed of festival producers, recording labels bosses and journalists, will select the winner who is going to perform for the audience at the prestigious NOSPR jazz stage.
