JazzKLUB / EABS - NOSPR
JazzKLUB / EABS
Having taken their home scene by storm, they became one of its most sought-for bands, also for mainstream festivals. Their 2017 debut shook Polish jazz circles, appealing both to jazz classics fans and to a young generation of listeners, the latter not affected by genre divisions. They found an adversary in Gilles Peterson, one of the most influential British journalists.
EABS’ performance style is a fusion of fascination with hip-hop, respect for mainstream jazz classics, and a love for electronic music. Each one of their new albums explores entirely new spaces, becoming a voice which speaks of culturally, socially, and politically important issues.
