What all the main figures of today’s concert have in common is a love for chamber music. Cristina Gómez Godoy, a Spanish oboist praised by critics both for her technical virtuosity and her uncommon musical instinct, has already debuted with recitals at Carnegie Hall and at Pierre Boulez Saal. Her compatriot, Sara Ferrández, started to learn the viola as early as at the age of three – now is a student at the Karajan Academy associated with the Berlin Philharmonic and a member of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra. Mario Häring, brought up in a German-Japanese family of musicians, won the 2nd prize in the prestigious Leeds International Piano Competition in 2018. Three instruments, three great individualities fused into one musical organism.
