Tianyao Lyu - NOSPR

Born in China in 2008, Tianyao Lyu began her musical education at the Middle School affiliated with the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, where she studied in the class of Hua Chang. She now continues her studies at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań under  Professor Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń.

Despite her young age, she is a laureate of numerous prestigious piano competitions. In 2024, she won the Grand Prix at the 31st International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth in Szafarnia and the Ettlingen International Piano Competition. The following year brought a remarkable triumph, namely the Fourth Prize as well as the Warsaw Philharmonic Award for the best performance of a Concerto at the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw.
