Tansman Trio
Tansman Trio - the first string trio in Poland.
The ensemble consists of the most recognizable instrumentalists of the young generation in Poland, namely:
- Roksana Kwaśnikowska - violin
- Agnieszka Podłucka - viola
- Zuzanna Sosnowska - cello
Scholarship recipients of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage programs: "Musical Footprint" and "Polish Music Scene". Laureates of the Tiziano Rosetti International Music Competition, the "Together into the Future" Competition of the Silesia Sonans Foundation and the Szczecin Classic International Festival.
In cooperation with the Association of Polish Chamber Musicians, they made the first ever audio-video recording of String Trio No. 2 by Alexander Tansman, the ensemble's patron. They have performed on the stages of the most important Polish concert stages (including the National Philharmonic, the Szczecin Philharmonic, the Lublin Philharmonic and the Rzeszow Philharmonic).
Graduates of the Zenon Brzewski High School of Music in Warsaw, where they were brought together by a common passion and a desire to share music. The artists studied at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, the Musikhochschule Lübeck and the Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia in Madrid.
They have won top prizes at prestigious international competitions, such as the Witold Lutoslawski International Cello Competition in Warsaw, the Michal Spisak International Music Competition in Dabrowa Gornicza, and the Tibor Varga International Violin Competition in Sion. As experienced chamber musicians, their artistic achievements also include chamber music competitions in Canada, Spain, Italy, Sweden and Poland.
The artists are invited to Polish chamber music festivals, i.e. Krzyzowa Music Festival, Ensemble Festival, Q'uarto Mondi Chamber Music Festival, Three-Czte-Ry Festival. They also give regular concerts abroad in Germany, Spain, Scandinavia, Japan, Latvia, Italy, Namibia and the USA.
