Symbiosis 5 - NOSPR

The Budapest-based Symbiosis 5 plays instrumental jazz. The members of the quintet met within the walls of the Liszt Ferenc University of Music and all of them are active members of the Hungarian jazz scene. Since the band was formed in 2020, they won the first places of the “Getxo Jazz” and Sibiu Jazz” competitions, and both of the main prizes of the 2023 edition of “MÜPA Jazz Showcase”. Their music is heavily influenced by modal jazz, but due to the young age and diverse interests of the quintet members, they also employ many other stylistic elements.
