Piotr Maciejowski
Graduate of the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music, tutored by Wojciech Maciejowski. In 2021, he completed his doctoral studies, earning the degree of Doctor of the Arts at the Fryderyk Chopin University in Warsaw, tutored by prof. Jerzy Knetig. He has honed his skill in masterclasses taught by: Neil Schiccof, Eytan Pessen, Matthias Rexroth, Izabela Kłosińska, Jerzy Marchwiński, Gerd Uecker, and Sergiei Leiferkus. He is currently assistant professor at the Academy of Music in Poznań.
From 2013 to 2018, he participated in the Opera Academy Young Talents Development Programme at the Grand Theatre National Opera in Warsaw. He has worked with such orchestras as: the Polish Radio Orchestra, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Wrocław, Poznań, Opole, and Baltic philharmonics, as well as the Sinfonia Varsovia. As a soloist, he has performed at such venues as the Grand Theatre in Poznań, the Grand Theatre National Opera, the Baltic Opera, and the Warsaw Chamber Opera. He has participated in oratorio-cantata performances, including: Mozart’s Requiem, Litaniae Lauretanae, Mass in C minor and Coronation Mass, Johann Sebastian Bach’s St John Passion, J. Haydn’s Die Schöpfung, G.F. Händl’s Messiah, Fr. Schubert’s Mass in G major, K. Kurpiński’s Te Deum, I. Stravinsky’s Oedipus Rex, Les Noces and In memoriam of Dylan Thomas, as well as K. Penderecki’s Credo.
