NENE HEROINE - NOSPR

NENE HEROINE is a Tricity-based ensemble operating within a jazz-psychedelic idiom.

Their music constitutes a synthesis of analogue sounds, dub, post-rock, improvisation, and accessible, emotionally charged melodies. Following the widely acclaimed debut album Total Panorama (Alpaka Records), the ensemble now present a new programme titled MOVA.

With this new project, Nene Heroine continue to explore a musical ‘trip’, which they invite their listeners to experience. The musicians eschew compromise, treating jazz solely as a point of departure for creating new structures.

Nene Heroine’s music resembles a kaleidoscope of ever-changing sensations. Each performance – depending on the venue, the nature of the event, and the energy of the audience – takes on a unique form that even the musicians themselves cannot fully predict. By always staying focused on the ‘here and now’, they ensure that their music never ceases to surprise thus turning each concert into a unique experience.

Last year, Nene Heroine performed at a number of major festivals across Poland, most notably at the country’s leading alternative music event, the OFF Festival. Their appearance there was met with enthusiastic responses from both the press and audiences.

The ensemble also received a MOSKITY 2023 award from K MAG magazine in the music category.
