His accompanist on that occasion was Helmut Deutsch. Since then he has appeared regularly in Schwarzenberg and Hohenems as well as in leading concert halls and opera houses all over the world.

Following a live recording of Die schöne Müllerin from the Wigmore Hall, his debut album for Sony Classical was released in 2015, featuring some of Schubert’s Goethe settings followed by a recording of Dichterliebe and a selection of other Schumann lieder in 2016.

Plans for 2019/20 include performances as Tamino (Die Zauberflöte) at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin and at the Zurich Opera House, where he will also perform the title role of Handel’s Belshazzar and Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni).
