Mateusz Tomica - NOSPR

Mateusz Tomica is a graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. The pianist is currently studying at the Hochschule der Künste Bern in Switzerland in Tomasz Herbut's class. Among his recent achievements is the second place at the XII Chopin Competition in Darmstadt (no first place was awarded) and an award for the best performance of mazurkas (2022). Mateusz Tomica has collaborated with musicians such as Marek Pijarowski and the Apollon Musagète Quartett. The artist has performed at various venues, including the Łazienki Królewskie, Duszniki-Zdrój, Żelazowa Wola, NOSPR, National Philharmonic, Gorzów, Śląskie, Toruń Philharmonics, as well as the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz.
