Gard Nilssen Acoustic Unity represents the sound created by the intriguing, chaotic, and sleep-deprived mind of the Norwegian drummer together with his like-minded friends, all of whom meet in the musical sphere with open heads and no concern for the usual genre-related constraints!

Founded in 2015, Gard Nilssen Acoustic Unity has already given 250 concerts around the world, released four critically acclaimed albums, and performed with Joshua Redman and Ambrose Akinmusire. Most of all, the group has earned a reputation as a killer live band! With Signe Emmeluth and Kjetil Møster recently joining the line-up, and with brand-new music and a new album due for release in 2025, the moment has come to present an entirely new project.
