Ewa Biegas - NOSPR

The graduate of Music School in Gliwice (singing and violin), the Vocal and Instrumental Faculty at the Music Academy in Katowice in the singing class of Prof. John Ballarin. Her vocal post graduate studies she continued in Vienna at Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in the singing class of Prof. Helen Łazarska. In years 1998-2002 she won the scholarship granted by the Polish Minister of Culture and Art, others granted by the Austrian government and by Dr. Robert Thyll-Dur Prestige Swiss Foundation. She is the prize winner of many national and international vocal competitions. Her opera debut has taken place in 1999 at the stage of Studiobuhne in Vienna where succeeded in performing and singing with honour the part of Billows Lady in Albert Herring opera by B. Britten. Currently she collaborates with the National Opera House in Warsaw. The singer has got an extensive selection of the vocal repertoire ranging from the former till the modern music. Since 2004 she has been employed as the teacher of solo singing as the profesor at the Institute of Vocal Studies at the Music Academy in Katowice.
