Ana Vieira LeiteSoprano (partenope)

Graduated from the Haute école de musique de Genève in 2020, Portuguese soprano Ana Vieira Leite also was awarded the 1st Prize at the Concours international de chant baroque de Froville, Concurso de Canto Lírico da Fundação Rotária Portuguesa, Concurso Internacional de Música Cidade de Almada and Prémio Helena Sá e Costa.
Particularly active in the field of Early Music, she has sung roles such as Spesin Hildegard von Bingen’s Ordo Virtutum, Une Bohémienne in André Campra’s Les fêtes vénitiennes, La Musica in Monteverdi’s Orfeo and Lidie in Rameau’s Le temple de la gloire. She is a founding member of the ensemble O Bando de Surunyo, which is specializing in the 16th and 17th century music. She performed Cecilia in Amore Siciliano, with Cappella Mediterranea.
She made her debut at the 
Grand Théâtre de Genève singing the soprano solo in Philip Glass’ Einstein on the Beach and Clorinda in an adaptation for children of Rossini's La Cenerentola. On the concert podium she performed Gustav Mahler's 4th Symphony with Joana Carneiro and Gábor Takács-Nagy, Mahler's Rückert Lieder with Thomas Hauschild.
Prior to joining the Haute école de musique de Genève Ana Vieira Leite has a Bachelor in singing, a Postgraduate Degree in opera studies and a Master's Degree in artistic interpretation from ESMAE.
