JazzKLUB / Ambrose Akinmusire Quartet
Currently referred to as one of the most important jazz trumpeters globally. A collaborator of many years of the Blue Note label, in 2001 he was nominated for the Grammy award in the “Best Jazz Album” category. He is an artist who does not cease to search and experiment, most sensitive to socio-political events, which provide a narrative for his musical utterances. Therefore, Ambrose’s stories evolve with every album, while his compositions freely mix most varied inspirations: from mainstream jazz, through free, ambient, and classical music, to hip-hop. His concerts are always immense experiences.
