ECHO Rising Stars - NOSPR

Can music written hundreds of years ago mean anything to young people? To answer this question, it is enough to hear how they perform it! Sometimes they are bravado-exuding hotheads and sometimes they show maturity and self-restraint worthy of the greatest masters. Young artists’ performances, to use a simile referencing the old-times music theme, are a true forge for new talents. Our stage has already seen many diamonds being cut to astonishing brilliance.

At NOSPR, we have been following rising talents for many years. “Rising Stars” is a series of chamber music concerts, symphonic concerts and solo recitals performed by the brightest young artists.

Some of them break away from the peloton at the very beginning of the race. They stand out thanks to amazing technique and unusual charisma. They become stars of a new generation – phenomena discussed around the world. Such are the musicians we will be listening to in the new ECHO Rising Stars series. It is a joint enterprise of institutions associated in the European Concert Hall Organisation. The artists who qualify for the programme are slated to tour the most prestigious concert halls of the continent, including, of course, ours. It is difficult to imagine a better start to a global career!
